Graham Warren

ACAD

Graham has been ACAD Manager since joining the association in 2013. Graham has worked in the Asbestos industry for most of his working life after graduating from the University of Sheffield. His role reflects ACAD’s central aim of improving standards throughout the Asbestos industry by continually developing ACAD, overseeing ACAD’s activities and representing membership views at all relevant HSE meetings including the Asbestos Liaison Group (ALG) as well as various Build UK groups.

In the past two years, Graham was instrumental in the creation of Specialist Apprenticeship Programmes for the Licensed Asbestos sector, coordinated the joint industry review of the Licensed Contractors Guide HSG247, led ACAD as the sole organisation that supported HSE’s review of HSG210 and has consistently been a keen advocate of NVQ competence qualifications for all levels within the sector.
